True peace lays beneath the mask.
Zac Guildford has had a well-documented battle with mental health and addiction over the years, whilst managing to achieve his ultimate dream of making the All Blacks at 20 years of age.
He battled the loss of his dad whilst trying to pursue a professional rugby career, and after years of addiction and self-discovery he’s now in a space to share his experiences.
Zac is now living a life of sobriety whilst passing on hope to others. He currently works in the recruitment industry for Skillford & Co Limited where he is the senior recruiter.
In his presentations, he brings a strength of not only real-life experience, but also from his work in the suicide prevention space, where he held the role of Suicide Prevention and Postvention Coordinator (SPPC) in the Wairarapa.
