Trisha is a clinical neuropsychotherapist, author, war correspondent and film maker. She has worked as a training and communication consultant for the last 12 years with her background being in training, communication and psychology. Trisha has a PhD in the neuroscience of relationships and through this discovered that the 6th sense exists. She also has a Post Doc in the neuroscience of the AHA moment.
Previous experience:
Television: Trisha has worked as a TV journalist in New Zealand and around the world for the BBC and CNN. She was a war correspondent during the Civil wars in Somalia, Bosnia and Rawanda. Trisha has produced and directed over 22 prime time TV Documentaries and worked for 60 Minutes in New Zealand and Australia. She was the first sports presenter on TVNZ, has hosted the America's Cup and was a frontperson for the inaugural Rugby World Cup held in New Zealand.
Author: She is the author of two books, Blood Money (the story of Somalia and the inadequacy of the UN) and Guts Tears n' Glory (isolating the x factor of NZ sports women who achieved Olympic or Commonwealth Gold.)
Hostage negotiator:
Trisha has experience in hostage negotiation and has worked as a consultant to corporations in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand and the Pacific. Trisha has a unique insight into what is needed to produce best performance, visionary leadership, wellbeing and conflict transformation.
Trisha has worked with indigenous cultures including in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Bougainville and the Solomon Islands. She has also worked on an eye camp in India where locals received interocular lenses to cure blindness.
She has run coaching/mentoring and training programmes for many organisations and staff levels, from CEO's to team members. She has worked for Fremantle Media helping contestants with performance anxiety and motivation in shows like Australian Idol and So You Think You Can Dance.
Current work:
Trisha is an expert on TV show, Married at First Sight. She has worked on all 5 series in Australia and is about to start Season 6.
Trisha has designed and delivered varied programmes including change management, transition to leadership, time management, presentation and negotiation skills, conquering performance anxiety, conflict transformation, workplace communication skills, communicating in a hostile environment, self development and self awareness.
