Paul Romhany has taken his hilarious comedy and magic show to over 124 countries with career highlights which include performing for Royalty in Monte Carlo, product launches including Mont Blanc in China, performing at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, touring theatres in North America, numerous television appearances, a headline act on cruise ships and entertaining corporate events from Singapore to Dubai.

He has been a full time professional magician for over 30 years, and is considered one of the very best in the world. Paul is well known for his comedy and close up magic, but is most famed for his unique interpretation of Charlie Chaplin, which is regarded as one of the most original and entertaining shows in magic today.

His skills as a magician have been recognised internationally with the prestigious Gold Medal Magic Award from North America, An Inner Member of the Magic Circle in London, the world's first recipient of the International Robert Houdin Award for his contributions to the entertainment industry and is the current Grand Master of Magic, bestowed upon him by New Zealand magicians. He has appeared on the Las Vegas stage with Criss Angel and as a creator and author has consulted for magicians around the world. For the past eleven years Paul has been the Editor and Chief of the world's largest magazine Vanish Magic Magazine. He is also author of over 40 books on magic and has presented seminars to magicians around the globe.

Paul was born and raised in New Zealand, earning his degree in music from Auckland University. A piano certificate from London's Royal College of Music followed, but Paul's passion remained in theatre.

Paul was based in Vancouver, Canada for many years but returned to New Zealand at the beginning of 2022.
