Modern-day warrior and cultural leader.
Ngahihi o te ra Bidois draws from the ancient wisdom of his Māori heritage to inspire modern solutions. With his moko kauae and commanding presence, he shares knowledge that empowers individuals and transforms organisations.
Raised in Aotearoa, Ngahi’s journey spans a diverse and accomplished career. He began in the corporate world, working with a multinational oil company, before transitioning into education—serving as a teacher, Head of Department, lecturer, and senior manager in the tertiary sector. He has also chaired multiple boards, including one overseeing assets valued over $500 million.
A dedicated student of both culture and business, Ngahi holds a Marketing Business degree, a postgraduate diploma in secondary teaching, a tourism qualification, and a Master’s in Education with Honours from Massey University. Ngahi has shared his message across the globe—from Malaysia and Cornwall to the United States and throughout Aotearoa. His work centres on a single powerful belief: people are an organisation’s greatest asset. As he often quotes the Māori proverb, "He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata" – "What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, people, people."
Through storytelling, cultural insight and lived experience, Ngahi continues to inspire individuals and communities to embrace their identity, build authentic leadership, and value the people around them.

The message Ngahi put across was exactly what we were after. He was awesome. It was an honour to have Ngahi and Carolyn there with us. The feedback received was extremely positive.
Ngahi was the perfect man for the job. He went down brilliantly with our audience and achieved our objective for the session of inspiring people to "lift their game". His focus on leadership was particularly timely and fitted superbly with the theme of the conference. We conducted an online evaluation after the conference Ngahis name came up time and time again as a highlight!
"Ngahi was absolutely the right person at the right time for our industry to hear in regards to his cultural, personal and professional story. Maori are one of our best assets to promote New Zealand and Ngahi achieved not only improving faith that this is true, but his leadership insights provided delegates with a lot of thought provoking discussion. His haka at the end with the assistance of other Te Arawa delegates was inspiring and will be long talked about for years to come."
