Mark Ferguson is one of New Zealand's best known actors, speakers, MC's and celebrity debaters. Mark trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney and since then has held a number of television roles both in Australia and New Zealand.

He has appeared in Shortland Street (playing the role of Darryl Neilson), Xena Warrior Princess, was the host and presenter of the TV improvisation show ˜Scared Scriptless', and hosted the TV2 series ˜The Mole', ˜Big Brother' and ˜Living the Dream'.
Mark also appeared as Gil-Galad, the last high king of the Noldor in Middle earth, in Lord of the Rings (a performance which has him travelling internationally to Lord of the Rings conventions).
Mark's first love is comedy improvisation and he was the person who bought the very popular ˜Theatresports' to this country. He is currently the director of Ovation Biz a business theatre company assisting clients with conferences, convention openings, product launches, speaker training, entertainment etc.
Current work
Mark has MC'd and hosted some of New Zealand's top conferences over the past 15 years. He has written, performed and directed hundreds of corporate events.
