Harry Garside is a plumber and Olympic boxer who won a Bronze Medal in the Men's lightweight event and 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Harry's win marked the first in more than three decades that an Australian has medalled in boxing at the Olympics.
The youngest of three boys from Mooroolbark in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, Garside surprised his family with his desire to become a boxer as a 9-year-old.

A 9-time national champion, Harry credits his coach, Brian Levier, who was Garside's first coach and part of his current team, with sparking his passion and love for the sport.

Garside believes in the power of mindset and goal setting, with his bedroom covered in Olympic memorabilia, gold medals and posters with the words 'I am an Olympian,' before he had even been selected to the Tokyo 2020 Team.
Previous Experience:
In 2015, Harry won his first of six Australian National Championships. Then in the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Garside he walked away with his first Gold Medal in the men's 60kg division.
