Geoff has performed by request of the Queen at the Royal Albert Hall, for Prince Charles at Windsor Castle, for Prince Albert of Monaco at the Prince's Palace, for Nelson Mandela, and for many other distinguished public figures; at international stadia for rugby fixtures such as London's Twickenham and the FA Cup Final at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium; and at private parties held by the A-list such as the Beckhams and Sir Elton John. Education: Geoff was a qualified chartered accountant with a BCA degree in Wellington, NZ, working at the National Bank when he gave it all up at age 24 because of the sudden death of his elder sister - to travel to Boston, USA to pursue a career in musical theatre. The only Kiwi who'd studied at the prestigious Boston Conservatory, pitted against students who'd been singing, dancing and acting since they were tots, Geoff persevered against all odds, paying his own way without financial support, scholarships or mentors, to gain the skills necessary for his new life. Moving to London, he tread the boards of the West End and worked hard to try to achieve the roles he dreamed of, while supporting himself financially, part-time, using his accountancy skills.
Business: Being told ˜no' over and over again by industry insiders because he wasn't ˜this or that', then dropped by his agent who wanted quick wins, Geoff and his Kiwi wife Simone created their own entertainment company, Incognito Artists in 2000. Employing the best of the West End in London and Broadway in New York, through their US operations, Geoff took the company from zero to 32 million pound total turnover in the past 19 years, providing the first singing waiters' type act in the UK and Europe, and then working with a loyal office team and hundreds of stars from stage and screen, to create innovative, limitless, fun, inspiring Acts for all different kinds of events to dazzle and delight guests and audiences around the world.
Not stopping there, Geoff also had a dream to be a recording artist so Geoff and Simone created the world's first opera band, Amici forever, in 2002, featuring Geoff as one of the tenors and Simone as co-manager, and signed them to RCA Victor and SonyBMG and sold over 3.5 million albums worldwide, having two No.1 albums, touring the world. When tragedy struck again, this time with one of their young daughters diagnosed with autism, Geoff and Simone left Amici and focused on Incognito Artists and Geoff's solo career. Surviving the GFC and the ups and downs, and pitfalls, of the entertainment industry to continue to pursue their dreams, they released two Geoff Sewell solo albums (2008 and 2014) reaching No.2 on the charts, solo tours of NZ, and creating a new mixed classical crossover group , entitled BRAVO Amici, featuring Geoff as tenor and showman, touring the world since 2010 - while also embarking on a complete 360 degrees wellness & wellbeing regime, which has become a lifestyle choice, to heal the medical needs of their daughter to live her best life, and help themselves deal with the stressors and strains of their extraordinary life.
