Client requirements
General
Clients to follow the event guidelines provided by health.govt.nz
If a client has any questions to please get in touch with MBIEand please inform Celebrity Speakers of any extra health and safety details or concerns
Client to not only register attendees but also require suppliers to be registered for contact tracing
Hospitality
Client to follow the hospitality guidelines provided by hospitality.org.nz
Where the speaker is dining at the event, we please ask that the seating is distanced (1 m) and that contact tracing is recorded per table
Speaker
If a speaker is in the higher risk category, although is comfortable with proceeding, Celebrity Speakers will inform the client and ask them to take extra precautions guided by health.govt.nz
Any pre-event meetings should be done via Zoom, where possible, to lessen contact
Ensure any necessary rehearsals are kept under 1 hour and are staggered, to limit number of people in one area at a time
Ensure all AV equipment (e.g. microphones) are sanitised before speakers use
Speaker requirements
General
Speaker to inform CSNZ immediately if they have been in contact with someone who is unwell or they themselves are feeling unwell
As per MBIE advice for Auckland speakers speaking outside of Auckland you are to maintain social distancing and to refrain from socialising at the event
Speaker may be required to supply travel history/COVID test
People at higher risk have been advised by The Ministry of Health to avoid public gatherings and to stay at home as much as possible. Any high risk speaker who decides to attend an event must take extra precautions
Travel
Follow the relevant alert level public transport requirements - available through the COVID-19 website
Keep track of your journey; keep a detailed record of where you have been while travelling and the weeks leading up to and following your event
Obey seating configurations on public transport and planes
Use personal vehicle when possible
Restrict any unnecessary movement while travelling, including on public transport - do not change seats.
Keep social distancing on transport where possible
CSNZ to pre-book all travel when possible to ensure information for contact tracing is available
If the speaker is arranging own travel, use only approved operators; uber / corporate cabs. Always ensure you have access to the operator information, cab number and driver details
Event
